It was so long ago that no one can remember when the dogs first appeared on the streets of the small, modern-day town called Raymont. There were movements to eradicate the strays, but they turned out to be futile and the people have long since given up hope at giving them homes again -- they know the dogs would just escape once more. Over time, three packs formed: Rani, the calm and loyal; Kaira, the proud and fierce; Belisaire, the nurturing and kind. Territories were established, but a fourth group didn't like the pack way of life and remained living solitary: the loners. The dogs, once careful pets but now hardy waifs, live life on the edge. Remain a housedog or flee to the streets: it's your choice.

A new pack has formed in Raymont, unknown to most of the dogs. The new pack, aptly named the Mafia, is rather evil: they terrorize the packs and wreak havoc in the usually calm and peaceful land. Rani and Balto fought back against the Mafia, but still they were afraid. The Mafia killed and hurt several dogs, but still the two packs refused to surrender. But Kaira watched the Mafia and decided they were good. They looked up to this evil pack and decided to team up with it. Rani and Balto buckled under the strain of the two other packs, but still they tried to fight back. A battle looms in the distance... can you survive?
Emeline stepped out into the morning sun. As it warmed her skin she shook off the dirty cud from the abandoned stable that was her home. The clouds floated gently over head and the wind billowed the greening trees. The air was clear and lacked a normal humidity. A scurry sounded from the Bushes. A rabbit.
Her muscles moved into an automatic position as she broke into a sudden sprint to the noise. Hitting the target straight foward she gripped the rabbei in her jaws and carried into the clearing. Walking quitely into the stable she left it by the younger dogs to eat. Once again she set out into the surrounding brush.
Carrying back her prey she knew she had done well. The winter was hard but the spring was to bring hope. Leaving the rest of the food in a pile she cleaned up the stables a bit. The horses had been gone for long but the stables look as though they never left. And yet she loved it so.

There was a white akita curled up in the hay of the abandoned stable. He slowly raised his head and blinked his eyes sleepily. He would prefer to stay in his cozy nest longer, but as the alpha of this pack, he really couldn't. With a heavy sigh he stood up. He only had three legs, but he had relly good balance. He walked forward normally, he had been three-legged for most of his life. He slipped out into the morning sun and he blinked a few times to let his eyes adjust to the light. He saw the alphess darting around with prey and he followed her. "You're up early." he commented quietly as he scented the air for food. "Hold on a second." he added, heading towards a mouse a little ways away. With a quick pounce, it was dead and he was fed. He made his way back to the queen. "Back." he said and sat down beside her. "So." he said. "What have you done this morning?" he asked her, tilting his head to the side.
Emiline look at the alpha. What ever does she think she had spent the morning doing. A life of hunting and tending to the others it's all she did or wanted. She quikley sprinted over to him. The air in her face as she ran the sound wind behind her a truely beautiful feeling. Stoping slightly in front of him she spoke.
"The usual." She paused "Hunting and cleaning the den a bit. After all it's not realy that early."
She Tilted her head to match his and faked his expression. She really was a clown. Emeline surpressed a laugh. She backed away as she heard another sound from the bushes. Instinct immeadiatly kicked in.
"I'll race you" She howled as she shot into the brush.

He nodded as she spoke and let his eyes drift up to the sky. A few wisps of cloud drifted across the sky as the early morning sun beamed down on them. "That's good..." he said slowly, just to speak. He looked down at her and saw her mimicing him. He sighed heavily. He wasn't a joker at all, he preffered silence and discipline. Most of the young dogs considered him a "prick". Pretty soon the femme was darting in the bushes, challenging him to a race. He jumped to his feet and shot after her. He bobbed and weaved through the bushes and weeds that littered the grass. He could barely see her in front of him and he ran faster. He ran along beside her in the brush. "Don't think I'm slow just because I'm old and only have three legs." he scolded.

A familiar scent filled Razlots nostrils. His soft hazel eyes slowly fell shut when he spotted the small hare, hidden in the thickets not far off. Simple, He muttered. His long strides carried him swiftly to his destination, where he throttled through the thicket, gripping his jaws around the warm body. The blood came. His favorite part, knowing he would not go hungry another night. But something disturbed his peace. Coming towards him were two large dogs, one seemed... disabled so to speak. Only three legs, this concerned Razlot. He swiftly got a better grip on his kill, and turned towards a boulder some 20 feet away. It took him no time to reach his hiding spot. His large body gently lowered into the tall grass, where his stomach slowly rose and fell.

As he continued through the undergrowth, a strange dog's scent filled his nose. He scrambled to a stop and froze with his fur bristling. His body stiffened as he inhaled the air trying to find where the strange dog was hidden. "Come and show yourself," he said as he located the dog's position. He moved closer to the hiding place and his body relaxed slightly. "I won't attack you unless you give me reason to," he added. He could smell that the dog had a meal with it. Perhaps this dog would want to join the pack, or it might be a loner that simply needed to be run out. He moved closer and waited in silence for the dog to appear.

[+]Razlot, baby[+]
Razlot's body stiffened when he realized he had been found. His eyes closed shut as the big male dog came around and questioned him. He didnt move. He stopped breathing. His body quivered furiously. The words the dog spoke didn't offer him an assurance. His eyes started to haze as his breath came in short spurts of seemingly nothing. his head began to fall dizzling. The words came quickly, "I'm sorry". Then came the darkness.

The big white akita moved closer as the dog spoke. He saw the dog collapse onto the ground. "Hello?" he called to the dog as he stood over him. He jabbed the dog roughly with his forepaw. "Hello!" he called again, this time closer in the dog's ear. "You have got to be kidding me," he grumbled as he sniffed the dog from head to toe. "He passed out!" he laughed. He sat down beside the dog and nudged his face. "I wonder why he did though?..." he mused as he sat there. What should he do? Lick him? No...that wouldn't help. He poked the dog's face with his paw again. "Please wake up?" he asked the dog, knowing he couldn't hear him. He sighed and looked down at the dog to wait for him to awake.
