It was so long ago that no one can remember when the dogs first appeared on the streets of the small, modern-day town called Raymont. There were movements to eradicate the strays, but they turned out to be futile and the people have long since given up hope at giving them homes again -- they know the dogs would just escape once more. Over time, three packs formed: Rani, the calm and loyal; Kaira, the proud and fierce; Belisaire, the nurturing and kind. Territories were established, but a fourth group didn't like the pack way of life and remained living solitary: the loners. The dogs, once careful pets but now hardy waifs, live life on the edge. Remain a housedog or flee to the streets: it's your choice.

A new pack has formed in Raymont, unknown to most of the dogs. The new pack, aptly named the Mafia, is rather evil: they terrorize the packs and wreak havoc in the usually calm and peaceful land. Rani and Balto fought back against the Mafia, but still they were afraid. The Mafia killed and hurt several dogs, but still the two packs refused to surrender. But Kaira watched the Mafia and decided they were good. They looked up to this evil pack and decided to team up with it. Rani and Balto buckled under the strain of the two other packs, but still they tried to fight back. A battle looms in the distance... can you survive?

ABOUT THE TERRITORIES There are three types of territories: the first is pack territories. These lands belong to a pack, but the pack that owns them can change. The second is claimable lands. These lands don't belong to anyone -- packs or loners. The third type is loner lands, lands that belong to the loners and can't be taken by a pack.
CLAIMING CLAIMABLE LANDS This can only be done if you're a king. Create a new thread in one of the boards and write an IC post in which your character decides this land would be good for its pack. Then a staff member will move the board to that pack's category.
CLAIMING PACK TERRITORIES Because these lands belong to a pack, they need to be fought over and not just taken. The king who wants to territory must go to the king of the pack that has the territory and say he wants it. A fight will begin, unless the king whose territory it is is willing to give away the land (but that's very rare). Staff will judge the battle.
