welcome
It was so long ago that no one can remember when the dogs first appeared on the streets of the small, modern-day town called Raymont. There were movements to eradicate the strays, but they turned out to be futile and the people have long since given up hope at giving them homes again -- they know the dogs would just escape once more. Over time, three packs formed: Rani, the calm and loyal; Kaira, the proud and fierce; Belisaire, the nurturing and kind. Territories were established, but a fourth group didn't like the pack way of life and remained living solitary: the loners. The dogs, once careful pets but now hardy waifs, live life on the edge. Remain a housedog or flee to the streets: it's your choice.

A new pack has formed in Raymont, unknown to most of the dogs. The new pack, aptly named the Mafia, is rather evil: they terrorize the packs and wreak havoc in the usually calm and peaceful land. Rani and Balto fought back against the Mafia, but still they were afraid. The Mafia killed and hurt several dogs, but still the two packs refused to surrender. But Kaira watched the Mafia and decided they were good. They looked up to this evil pack and decided to team up with it. Rani and Balto buckled under the strain of the two other packs, but still they tried to fight back. A battle looms in the distance... can you survive?

Accepting a new dog (Frost and Bellisaire leaders) « Thread Started on May 16, 2009, 8:23pm »
Her paws entered the camp and her plumy tail wagged happily. "We're here." she said softly over her shoulder to the new husky, Frost. "Remember what I told you." she added as she moved forward. After looking around for a few seconds, she called out. "Belisaire! We have a new dog wishing to join! May the entire pack gather?" she continued on into the center of the clearing to wait for the dogs to come out and for Frost to be accepted into the pack. It was going to be nice to have a new dog in the pack. Especially one that maybe she could become friends with. So far, her only friend was Keri, a playful Border Collie.

Rexanna yawned, slinking out of the den she shook off her previous traces of sleep. The doberman was surprised that she had been called for a meeting instead of calling one, but had no problem with it. An escort must have found a new member; anf that fact made Rexanna look forward to this.
Glancing over, she noticed Alto, her King was already out here. That meant it couldn't be too much longer until this started, right? Rexanna smiled at the escort the soon to be new pack member. She would talk to the female once this was all over, though about what was all depending on whether Alto wanted to give the new dog their place in the pack.

Frost held her posture: tail down, head up, as she followed Sakura into the pack clearing. She stood at the entrance and watched as Sakura called a meeting. She glanced around taking in the pack's home. Some of the pack members were talking to Sakura while others looked at her. She remembered to keep quite and only speak when spoken to. She hoped she would be allowed to stay with the pack, and that she would be able to fit in. She scented the air once more and looked around. One of the dogs had a stronger scent than the others. That must be their leader. she thought at she spotted the male she had scented. Her pelt tingled with the feelings of excitement and nervousness. She hoped all went well.
