welcome
It was so long ago that no one can remember when the dogs first appeared on the streets of the small, modern-day town called Raymont. There were movements to eradicate the strays, but they turned out to be futile and the people have long since given up hope at giving them homes again -- they know the dogs would just escape once more. Over time, three packs formed: Rani, the calm and loyal; Kaira, the proud and fierce; Belisaire, the nurturing and kind. Territories were established, but a fourth group didn't like the pack way of life and remained living solitary: the loners. The dogs, once careful pets but now hardy waifs, live life on the edge. Remain a housedog or flee to the streets: it's your choice.

A new pack has formed in Raymont, unknown to most of the dogs. The new pack, aptly named the Mafia, is rather evil: they terrorize the packs and wreak havoc in the usually calm and peaceful land. Rani and Balto fought back against the Mafia, but still they were afraid. The Mafia killed and hurt several dogs, but still the two packs refused to surrender. But Kaira watched the Mafia and decided they were good. They looked up to this evil pack and decided to team up with it. Rani and Balto buckled under the strain of the two other packs, but still they tried to fight back. A battle looms in the distance... can you survive?

Biographies This is the first place you should go when creating a new character. Copy and paste the form into a new thread and fill it out. Look at accepted bios in the sub-board this one to see examples of how your bio should look.
Dens The Balto pack members reside in a shaded hollow close to the highway. To avoid crossing the road to get there, the dogs must take a circuitous route down to the junkyard where there is a break in the highway. The den floor is carpeted by a layer of small pebbles that require careful walking to avoid a tumble.
The Junkyard The heap of scrap metal and garbage is small. Its atrocious scent alerts people and dogs of its presence from hundreds of feet away; for this reason, some dogs stay away from it. Many strays come here, though it is an excellent place to scavenge for food. Countless rats scurry over and through it, gorging themselves on the rotting remains of old meals.
The Highway Most dogs stay away from this wide, black strip of asphalt. All aspects of it keep many dogs away even its name has unpleasant connotations. You can try to cross it, but cars rush by on it nonstop even on the darkest of nights and many dogs have ran to their deaths on this dark highway.

The Beach About half a mile down and right after the border between Kaira and Balto, the riverbanks lower and the flowing water laps up onto a rocky gravel beach. Be careful its easy to get your paws scratched on the sharp rock shards and rough sand that line the low beach. A narrow sand bar can be seen in the middle of the wide river; swim out to it if you can.
Dens If you go into this old building on the outskirts of the city, you'll see the remains of horse stables and a ring where mares and stallions used to canter in every day. The riding stables have long been abandoned and now the Rani pack calls it their home. Soft hay has been pushed into piles against the walls, making beds for the strays to sleep in. Although this is not the cleanest of dens, the Rani pack love it and will defend it with their lives.
The Park Although this is Rani Pack territory, loners come here often. That's no surprise; the other packs are jealous of this wide expanse of grass and trees. If you are away from a den, this is a nice place to go to in stormy weather the copious amounts of leafy trees can shield you from pouring rain. Although there are large amounts of squirrels and birds here, they are very hard to hunt. It seems that the prey has been scared by too many humans to be calm when on the ground and the little creatures are always watching their backs.
The Alley This alley is always dark. The tall buildings surrounding it hide it from the sunlight unfortunately, though, rain and snow can easily fall on the cold, cobblestone street. Because it is always dirty and filled with litter, this alley is place where you can easily hunt rats and scavenge for food.
The Tunnels At the end of the alleyway, a gaping hole appears in the ground. Formerly covered by a shining manhole cover, it opens onto a steep slope that shifts into a winding system of tunnels underneath Raymont. The dark tunnels are topped with thick pipes, and light comes from narrow holes high above.
Dens The Kaira pack members live in this little clearing. High bushes surround it and keep unwanted visitors from looking in. A lone tree overlooks the dens; its small leaves litter the ground. The clearing is cozy and a wonderful place to relax and listen to the peaceful sound of the nearby river.

The Abandoned Warehouse This old warehouse sits near the edge of the city. Nobody comes here anymore; the objects inside of it have been covered with cobwebs and dust for a long time. Although some pups stay away from this creepy gray shed, it has many dark corners that are fun to explore.

The River This slow-moving expanse of water is unusually clear for a city river. A few fish swim through its dark blue waters, but they are small, fast and very hard to catch. Some dogs are willing to swim for fun or to clean themselves, but most strays just hang out on the wooden dock.

The Hill At the edge of Raymont, a tall hill rises out of the grassy ground. A few thin wildflowers grow for the shaggy grass, their petals bright against the green blades. Pups like to frolic on the hills sloping sides, but their mothers need to watch over the young ones: a rough tumble can send a dog flying down the hill and onto the hard earth.
The Battlefield The battlegrounds. Its scent, its look... even its name gives you unpleasant thoughts. Here battles between the packs are held. Chosen for its terrain, this large, flat field is located between the Kaira and the Rani territories.

The Dog Run In the daytime, people bring their housedogs here to frolic in the small enclosure. At night, numerous loners and pack dogs leap over the short fences and run over the hay-covered ground. A small wading pool in the back is constantly filled with water and is a nice place to cool off during a warm summer night. Although no squirrels or birds dare to venture into the dog run, they fill the trees and bushes surrounding it.
The Construction Site It is mainly loners who come here explore the dusty corners of this unfinished building. Bare metal beams rise high overhead and rough wooden boards lean against the short walls. Quiet mice scurry across the cement floor; they are easy to catch and hunt. The building gets more and more finished every day but for now, it's just a construction site.
The Center of the City Housedogs live in this small cluster of buildings. These skyscrapers are the main part of the city; they dominate the skyline and light up the night sky. Here, stars are barely visible the bright lights from the tall buildings cloak the light of the stars from the people and dogs down below. Garbage and old pieces of junk are scattered over the sidewalks. Large rats join the dogs who wander here at night; they feast on the litter and are excellent prey.
The Clouds This is where most of the Skyfire Pack lives, no matter what pack they were in. They are the dogs in heaven, the dogs who have passed on and now live in the mystical world above.
The Promenade This long stretch of pavement and grass is on the outer edge of the park. Its usually full of people walking their dogs, jogging or just enjoying the day, but strays can romp here even in the day there are no leash laws, so dogs, whether theyre stray or not, can often be found running free alongside the people.
